Things I like and…

Things that could be improved upon:
1). The quality of the net itself is the best I’ve had yet! Bravo!
2). Fairly easy set up - net is nice and taut
3). The instructions should indicate clearly that for the initial setup takes two people because it’s very stiff! So stiff that I was sure they sent me the incorrect size net! After the initial setup I was able to set up myself. Kudos to Brent for hanging in there with me to troubleshoot this.
4). The two legs on the end pieces should have come with rubber pads similar to those on the centre piece. I need to procure these and glue them on myself.

5). The metal posts and rods scratch very easily with regular take down, storage and set up. It doesn’t seem like the paint is powder coated but it should be like my other two nets from different companies. I’ve only used the net six times and every rod has numerous scratches.

Upgraded features of the Pickleball Depot Portable Net include:

  1. NEWLY IMPROVED stability legs are now 36" wide and slightly arched using 1-1/2” X 1-1/2” sq. tubing for added stability in outdoor windy conditions!  
  2. Heavy grade netting, will not tear or damage as easily as traditional netting material and will not allow balls to pass through. 
  3. Sides of net attached to the posts are reinforced, hemmed and triple stitched.
  4. Heavy duty headband, less chance of centre support breaking through the top.
  5. Plenty of room under net when passing ball to opposite court.
  6. Upgraded buckle / strap system for easy tension adjustment
  7. Wide 36" base for more stability in windy conditions.
  8. Oversize nylon carrying bag with plenty of room for extra paddles, court shoes and balls.
  9. Bag comes with transport wheels at one end and handle to pull at other end for easy transport.
  10. Tournament approved nets can be adjusted to tournament standards. Meets all USA net standards. 

Care Suggestion: Portable Net Systems are designed for either indoor or outdoor use. However, please do not leave this product outside for extended periods. We suggest that you store your system indoors and not exposed to wet or extreme outside elements.   Although most Portable Net Systems are rust resistant, they are not rust proof. We cannot warranty products that are left outside for extended periods
