Balls Recommended:
The best performing balls for these machines are harder balls such as the Core outdoor balls or Franklin outdoor balls. With these balls being harder than other balls, such as the Penn or Onix balls, they will produce the best results for ball ejection, speed, and ball drive. If using indoor balls, the speed and projection height will be slightly slower and lower than a harder ball and may occasionally get stuck in the ball hopper.
Note: if using brand new outdoor balls that still have a slick/waxy surface these balls may throw at an inconsistent rate vs. older scuffed up balls. T his slick film makes it harder for the wheels to grab the balls consistently and the film can also transfer onto the surface of the wheels. Older, used balls will always produce the best results and throw at a more even consistent rate than brand new balls.
